Other than startups in Silicon Valley his overseas experience includes living and working in Japan for National/Panasonic group (Tokyo R&D Labs) and JP Morgan. Jim Connor provides Noca with financial leadership and expertise. Jim has been active in financial software applications for the past twenty years and was most recently the President of JPMorgan SymPro, a subsidiary of JP Morgan Chase after selling his company SymPro to JP Morgan. Jim is active in applying software technology to financial and business applications.He holds a Bachelors degree in Business from the University of Cincinnati and is a member of several professional finance associations.
Noca initially launched in 2009 with its (patent pending) architecure allowing Merchants to easily start accepting payments online – with just the Check based payment system i.e. Secure Check ™ , which provided Consumers an alternate way to pay and Merchants with a low cost alternative payment system. Since then we have added VISA/MC cards as a processing option alongwith major improvements in Consumer as well as Merchant experience. Building highly scalable, good payment systems takes a while and we are determined to do things right.
